Ivan Rakov Studio is a full production team based in Los Angeles — photographers, videographers, editors, and a licensed drone operator working together under one roof. Led by founder Ivan Rakov, with 7 years of experience working with brands, creators, and individuals across the US.
That's why our work covers so much ground — commercial campaigns, podcasts, live streaming, aerial photography, and studio production for brands, creators, and companies. Clients who come to us get the full range of production services in one place — every specialty covered under one roof, handled by the same team from start to finish.
"We care as much about how we shoot as what we deliver. The process matters. The reaction matters. That's why we do this."
Every project on this page was shot, lit, and produced by the same crew — not outsourced, not stitched together from freelancers we met once. That consistency shows up in the work: whether we're running a five-camera livestream for a corporate conference, building a 130-clip content library in a single 10-hour shift, or shooting a documentary BTS on a music video set, the same production standard carries through every deliverable.
We work across podcasts, live streaming, commercial content, aerial photography, and studio production — not because we can't decide what we do, but because most real projects need more than one specialty. A brand launching a YouTube channel needs the same reliability as a company running a live corporate event. We built the team to cover both.
Clients come back because the process is repeatable: clear planning before the shoot, a crew that knows exactly what it's doing on the day, and a finished product that doesn't need a follow-up explanation. That's the whole model.
Hi, I'm Ivan — photographer, filmmaker, and the person behind Ivan Rakov Studio.
I've been working in photography and video for years, shooting everything from portraits and weddings to commercial projects, events, and creative productions. I love being behind the camera, experimenting with light, working with both digital and 16mm film, and constantly trying something new.
I created this studio because I wanted a space where I would genuinely enjoy shooting myself — comfortable, flexible, well-equipped, and without unnecessary complications. A place where you can walk in with an idea and have everything you need to bring it to life.
I'm still a working photographer and filmmaker, so almost everything you see in the studio comes from real experience on set. The equipment, lighting, different shooting areas, and even the small details are here because I know how much they matter when you're actually working.
Whether you're coming in for a quick photoshoot or spending the whole day on a production, I want the studio to feel less like a rental space and more like your own creative space for the day.
Hope to see you here!

Used for my YouTube channel (80k+ subs) and short form content and let me say Ivan and his team are a pleasure to work with. We will be coming back. I strongly recommend hiring his team if you're going to use the space as he knows how best to use all equipment and inside there is everything you need.

Loved working with Ivan! The shoot had such a relaxed and creative atmosphere, and I felt comfortable the entire time. He gave great direction without making anything feel forced, and we got so many beautiful shots. I'd definitely love to shoot with him again!
