Our client, CARSOCAL, a broker selling everyday and premium vehicles in Los Angeles, came to us with a simple request: they needed content. A lot of it. Not just one video, but an entire system of conversational Reels they could post week after week without repeating themselves.
The format is simple on paper and deceptively hard in practice โ a talking head, no staging, just the person, the camera, and their expertise. That simplicity is exactly where the difficulty lives: if the lighting, sound, and pacing aren't dialed in from the very first take, a viewer scrolls past in a second and a half.
The entire shoot happened right in our studio โ no travel, no location logistics to manage. We set up a compact rig: one camera, directional lighting, a lavalier mic backed up by a shotgun mic, specifically so we wouldn't lose time resetting the scene between topics. The client would sit down, we'd hit record, and throughout the day we worked through one topic after another โ how to choose your first car, what to check before buying, why some models hold value while others drop, breakdowns of real deals โ everything his audience actually wants to know.
In a single shoot day, we recorded roughly 30 videos โ enough to cover a content calendar for weeks, without a single extra session.
What the client walked away with: a ready-to-use content bank, shot with the same lighting and sound quality from the first video to the last, so the feed feels cohesive instead of a patchwork of different days and moods.
