Multi-Camera Podcast Production for Crosses & Converses

We recently produced a multi-camera podcast shoot for Crosses & Converses, a faith-based conversation series filmed in a bright studio space overlooking the Los Angeles skyline. The format called for a clean, dynamic multi-angle setup โ€” the kind of coverage that keeps a long-form conversation visually engaging from start to finish.

The Setup

We positioned multiple cameras around the seating area to capture wide establishing shots of the space alongside tighter angles on each guest, giving the editing team plenty of coverage to cut a natural, well-paced conversation. All feeds were monitored and switched live, so the production team could keep an eye on framing and exposure throughout the shoot without slowing things down between segments.

The floor-to-ceiling windows and skyline backdrop became part of the visual identity of the show โ€” bright, open, and grounded in the city, which suited the tone of the series well.

Why It Worked

Podcast production is as much about consistency as it is about coverage. A strong multi-camera setup means every episode can be shot efficiently and cut together with the same visual rhythm, episode after episode โ€” which matters a lot for a recurring series building an audience over time.
