Live Streaming a Global Corporate Conference

📍 Los Angeles, CA
Live stream production for IKO International's global company conference — Ivan Rakov Studio

We recently produced a multi-camera live stream for IKO International's company conference — an event that brought together executives and leadership from across the company, with the broadcast reaching viewers in Japan, the US, and other countries watching remotely.

The Setup

The conference was held in a fairly compact venue, which meant tight, efficient camera placement was key. We ran three cameras on Sony FX3 bodies and equivalents:

On top of the in-room coverage, one speaker joined remotely online, and we integrated their video feed directly into the live broadcast — along with the presentation slides, which were also shared as a live feed. At points where both needed to be visible at once, we used picture-in-picture to show the remote speaker and the presentation side by side, so the international audience never lost context.

"Juggling in-room cameras, a remote speaker feed, and a live presentation feed — then cutting between them cleanly for viewers watching from multiple countries in real time."

Why It Worked

Corporate conferences like this live or die on signal management. Planning the picture-in-picture layout in advance, and knowing exactly when to cut to the free camera for a reaction shot or a wider view of the room, is what keeps a broadcast like this feeling polished rather than improvised.
