Every wedding starts long before the ceremony, and Kim & Roy's day was no exception. What stood out most about working with them wasn't just the wedding itself โ it was how the whole process came together, from that first message to the moment the final gallery landed in their inbox.
We wanted to walk through that process here, partly because it's a good example of how we like to work, and partly because Kim & Roy were genuinely a joy to shoot for.
The Timeline
- The InquiryKim & Roy reached out looking for a photographer for their wedding. Before anything else, we hopped on a call โ not a sales pitch, just a real conversation about their day, their vision, and what mattered most to them. It's always easier to shoot for people once you actually know them a little.
- The ContractAfter that call, it felt like an easy yes on both sides. They signed on, and from there it was just a matter of counting down to the big day.
- One Week OutAbout a week before the wedding, we scheduled another call to lock down the timeline โ ceremony start time, key moments we didn't want to miss, family formals, golden hour, all of it mapped out so there'd be no scrambling on the day itself.
- July 3rd โ Wedding DayWe were there early and stayed close all day, making sure not to miss a single moment โ the quiet ones before the ceremony, the vows, the reactions from family and friends, and everything on the dance floor once the formalities were over.
- 3 Days Later โ Highlights DeliveredA curated highlights gallery went out to Kim & Roy just three days after the wedding โ enough images to relive the day immediately, while the full edit was still in progress.
- 10 Days Later โ Full Gallery DeliveredThe complete, fully edited gallery was delivered 10 days after the wedding โ every moment from the day, ready to look back on for years to come.

Why the Process Matters
A wedding day goes by fast, and there's no redo. The work that happens before the wedding โ the calls, the timeline planning, actually getting to know the couple โ is what makes the day itself run smoothly, and it's a big part of why the final gallery feels complete rather than rushed.
Kim & Roy trusted us with one of the most important days of their lives, and getting to hand them a full gallery just 10 days later, after a highlights preview in three, felt like exactly the kind of experience we want every couple to have.
