We produced a set of creative videos for Sergei Tikhanovsky, the Belarusian blogger and public figure known for his pre-2020 YouTube channel documenting everyday life in Belarus. Since being released in 2025 after years as a political prisoner, he's been focused on rebuilding a creative presence โ and this project was part of launching a new YouTube channel centered on that creative work.
A Fresh Creative Direction
The goal here wasn't to recreate his old format, but to build something new โ content that reflects where he is now, creatively and personally, rather than a continuation of what came before. That gave us room to experiment with tone and visual style while still keeping the production clean and professional enough to launch a channel around.
Production for a Launch
Launching a new channel means the first pieces of content set the tone for everything that follows. We focused on consistent lighting, clean audio, and a visual identity that could scale across future episodes โ building a foundation the channel can keep building on rather than a one-off video.
Why It Matters
Creative content built around someone rebuilding a public presence carries extra weight โ it's often the first real look people get at where someone is now. Getting the production right matters as much as the story itself.
